When planning a wedding. Often, wedding photography timeline and planning is not considered, only wedding photos are emphasized. Planning sets a firm foundation for your wedding photos to be created. How can time be made for everything you want to plan during your wedding? What happens if - makeup artist arrives late, and your pre-ceremony pictures run-behind schedule? What happens if your venue is dark and the lighting isn’t great?
The Basic Photo Process
how it works
The photo process is an ensemble of intricate elements that fit together. Each element is complex and highly customized in nature. This is why David Baker Studios, LLC has created a general what-to-expect layout for your peace-of-mind.

Consultations are accommodated either in-person or virtually, according to your preference.
The consultation is a meet-and-greet with your photographer, David Baker will introduce himself and photography services will be explained in greater detail and all of your questions will be answered. David may bring up inspo ideas to consider part of your photo session to ensure a smooth photo session.

On arrival, David will check in with Client through email or text. Arrival time begins 30 minutes before the photo session, so David has preparation time before your session. Then, David will begin to guide you through your photo session. The seamless nature of the photographic experience will ensure a fun, relaxing, and enjoyable experience reflected in your photos.

After your photo session, you’ll be given a few days to catch your breath and recover from the excitement of your photo session.
David will send you a “Post Photo Session” email within 2 to 5 business days to re-establish contact and provide you with information about the portrait photography photo preparation, concerning the delivery of your engagement photos or family photo moments.
Within one week you’ll receive a “Sneak-Peak” to review your engagement photos or family photos from your portrait photography photo session. This will give you a chance to see your photos.
Within the next few weeks, you’ll receive your finalized Basic Edited JPG images.

You will select your favorite images from your delivered photos to include in a purchased photo album from your portrait photography photo session. Using your favorite selections, David will create your photo album layouts and send to you for approval or request adjustments. After album layout approved, you will choose your photo album size, cover material and color. Then, the image retouch process begins.
Any engagement photos and family photos intended for print will be professionally retouched before the final prints are delivered to you.
